I currently work for a UK vehicle data company where I customise our in-house CMS for inclusion on the websites of vehicle dealers and manufacturers such as Nissan, Peugeot, Skoda and SEAT. It's a good mix of front-end and back-end work, and I get to work with some unbelievably smart people. Outside of this, my wife and I work on freelance projects under the name 3rd Wave Media.

Antimatter Universe

Anyone who listened to Industrial music in the 1990s will know the band Cubanate. The man behind the band, Marc Heal, was one of the most active musicians in the scene during that period, creating music for Cubanate and numerous side projects including C-Tec and Ashtrayhead. This is the website I made for him where he shares experiences from his life as a performer and producer - a must read for fans of Industrial or counterculture-related music in general. Warning: explicit content!

checkNet jQuery plugin

checkNet is a jQuery plugin which, when included on a webpage will detect if the internet connection is lost and add a warning to the top of the page and disable any form submit buttons. Amongst other uses, this could be useful for your site's users if they have to enter any significant amounts of data before submitting a form (we've all had that annoying situation where you type something up and then lose it all when the form doesn't submit properly!)

What began life as a family shopping list was gradually grown and refined into a stylish and highly functional custom web app, with a range of features for managing and sharing lists across computers and smartphones. The perfect excuse for some mobile styling experiments :)

The Razor Blade Dance Floor (podcast website)

Joe Graham is the most active promoter of Industrial music on the web, writing for Outburn Magazine and ReGen Magazine whilst also producing the Razor Blade Dance Floor podcast. Although he was already utilising social media to a large degree, he needed a website where he could publish the podcast, and to act as a central hub for his online presence.
